David has over 25 years of highly relevant and impactful experience across multi-billion dollar global technology companies as well as mid size firms and start ups. David is currently the chief marketing officer (CMO) at ServiceMax., the leading field service management solution. Prior to ServiceMax, he was CMO at Five9, the largest pure cloud-based Contact Center software company. Before Five9, David was CMO & EVP at McAfee, a security software, hardware appliance, and SaaS company that expanded from $1B to over $2.6B in revenue during his tenure and was acquired by Intel. Prior to McAfee, David was CMO of ZANTAZ, a privately held content archiving company that was acquired by Autonomy. Previously, he served as SVP & CMO for EMC's multi-billion dollar information, storage, and content management software group. During Milam's tenure at EMC, he was responsible for all aspects of global software marketing, which contributed to the company's 20%+ year-over-year license revenue growth and EMC's Software Group being recognized as the 7th largest software company in the world. Prior to EMC, Milam was EVP & CMO of Documentum, where he played an instrumental role in significantly growing the business, penetrating adjacent markets, tripling the customer base, and making Documentum the dominant leader in Enterprise Content Management which resulted in its acquisition by EMC. Milam has also held executive positions at Broadbase Software, Cadence Design Systems and Structural Dynamics Research. David received a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management, from California State University at Long Beach.
