These notes describe the current release of the MapR Kubernetes Ecosystem.

Operators cspaceoperator-1.0.0 supports MapR Kubernetes Ecosystem 1.0 and

drill-operator-1.0.0 supports MapR Drill 1.15.0 and 1.16.0

spark-operator-2.4.4 supports MapR Spark 2.4.4

Known Issues

K8S-1114: External cspace namespace deleted. The externalcspace namespace can be deleted when the API server is taken offline, making it necessary to reconfigure the CSpace. Fixes included in this release increase the circumstances in which the CSpace will repair itself.

Workaround: None.

Upgrade Instructions

No software needs to be uninstalled before upgrading. To upgrade from MapR Kubernetes Ecosystem 1.0 to
  1. Clone the GitHub repository.
  2. Switch to the mke- branch.
  3. Re-run the bootstrapinstaller script.
