Accessing Sqlline

To access Sqlline on a secure Drill cluster, do the following:
  1. Log in to the Drill cluster. For example, run the following command:
    kubectl exec -it -n <cspace> <drill pod> /bin/bash
    
  2. Generate the user ticket for the MapR cluster by running the following command, and enter the password when prompted:
    maprlogin password
    For more information, see maprlogin.
  3. Go to the ${DRILL_HOME}/bin directory, and launch Sqlline. For example, run the following commands:
    cd /opt/mapr/drill/drill-<version>/bin
    ./drill-secure
    Note that $DRILL_HOME is the Drill installation directory.
To access Sqlline on an unsecure Drill cluster, do the following:
  1. Log in to the MapR cluster. For example, run the following command to log in to the Drill cluster:
    kubectl exec -it -n <cspace> <drill pod> /bin/bash
  2. Go to the ${DRILL_HOME}/bin directory and launch Sqlline. For example, run the following commands:
    cd /opt/mapr/drill/drill-<version>/bin
    ./drill-localhost
    Note that $DRILL_HOME is the Drill installation directory.
