Settings for Debugging

The debugging object of the Compute Space (CSpace) CR contains values for the following properties:
Property Type Description
logLevel string Specifies the log level for the pod container. The settings in the CSpace services can override this setting. The value can be one of the following:
  • ERROR
  • INFO
  • DEBUG
The default value is INFO.
preserveFailedPods boolean Specifies whether or not to try to prevent pods from restarting in the event of a failure. Value can be one of the following:
  • true – Attempts to preserve failed pods in the event of a failure.
  • false – Restarts the pods in the event of a failure.
The default value is false.
CAUTION: Setting the value to true can simplify the debugging of pods, but your cluster will lose the native Kubernetes resilience that comes from pods restarting themselves when there is an issue. Set the value to true only in rare circumstances.
wipeLogs boolean Specifies whether to remove log information at the start of a container run. Value can be one of the following:
  • true – Removes the log information.
  • false – Preserves the log information.
The default value is false.
